No9's new home for a while
first outing - visit to local pub !

"some Tiger mate"

As Darrell and No 9 arrived in Blighty with a couple of days to spare before free practice at Goodwood there was time to do a few things before the hard work began! The Welcoming party held at Graham Vickery's, home attended by nine Tigers and a dozen or more members, was followed by a visit to The Barley Mow a local ancient inn - No9's first run on British roads for many a year. The owner, a keeper of several classic cars, admires Anglo-American machinery so Darrell received a good reception. A visit to the home of British motorsport at Brooklands took place a day or so later for a photo call at Europes first purpose built race circuit where some refreshment was also taken at the "Sunbeam Tea Rooms". The next day STOC joined a V8 sports car show at Denbies winery in Dorking, Surrey.
