Matt Neal to co drive the '8' LM Tiger in Revival 'TT' with Chris Beighton

The co-driver of 'No8' with Chris Beighton in the RAC 'TT' event will be Matt Neal - the British Touring Car Champion of 2005, 2006, 2011 and current leader of this year's Championship.
Matt was born in December 1966, the month the MKII was released to the US & Canada markets so his in period memory of the Tiger is slight but he knows our machines and will get to know the '8' car properly come 30th August when Matt & Chris + car and Team will be at a 'TT' entries Goodwood Circuit Test Day.

Not really a public event but I'm sure the GRRC folk will let a few Tigers in to watch!

Here's a look back at last years race http://www.sunbeamtiger.co.uk/forum/vie ... od+revival

2012 will be a very special year for the Tiger at the Revival as the '8' car will be joined by 'The Monster' which will race in the Fordwater event. See more http://www.sunbeamtiger.co.uk/forum/vie ... od+revival

Should be a superb weekend - 14-16 September

See you there!

A few pics of today's test meet courtesy of Mr BigBob. I understand that due to noise restrictions there wasn't much lap time, and also a report that driving the Lister Tiger on Dunlop control tyres is somewhat tricky....

Thanks Bob for catching the action no matter how limited.
Once Matt Neal comes to terms with the Dunlops he and Chris could have a good tilt at a podium finish!!!

Have to appoint you as Official Deputy No 2 Club Photog to Tony!!
