New seeking advice please?

As I am recently retired I would like a classic car to tinker around with and the Tiger is of interest to me. Ideally it would be one needing some work to keep me occupied?

I had an Alpine back in the 1970s and always liked the styling but this time would possibly like something with more power.

I have limited knowledge but understand from other sites that there is an authentication programme availible to ensure the cars are genuine. Is this service availible here in th UK as I think this was in the USA?

Many thanks for your patience!

There are many cars tucked away that have not seen daylight for years, some completely dismantled and waiting for fresh interest. They come up now and again its just a matter of time.

I dont think there is an authentication system in place in the UK but I did hear the STOC may be adopting the american TAC system to check cars out? (can anyone confirm this?).

Other than that if you go and see a car take someone with you who is well informed and check all the parts are with the car if it is in bits.

It is worth joining the club as many cars are well known.

All the best with your search!

One may come up for sale like mine did, it's just being known & in the right place at the right time.
