no its a configuration option. a url doesn't need any extra bandwidth.
perhaps graham can turn it on?

Hi, zed sump it was my car you spotted. Lots of nice wheels there, and an excellent R&R band too (on the left of the stage)!
PS I noticed you have a URL inserted in your signature. How did you manage that?

not bad on stage but could have done with some full on motor rock n roll Chuck Berry style!!
I signed up in the very early days of this forum and i guess URLs were allowed.... manged to post a pic on my 'yours out about pictures' thread a year ago... guess that could be the reason why no-one else ever posted their photos up?................ .. .... ............
