Missed out on the inaugural showing for this brand new speed event in Cheshire, in the grounds of the stately Cholmondeley Castle last August, but from all accounts and despite the wet weather it was a true enthusiasts meeting with plenty of action and some proper machines on display.

Dates for 2009 have been confirmed the weekend of 18th and 19th July and the organisers do have "special" parking for classics.

Certainly no match to the "Goodwood Revival" but I imagine will gather support being one of the few "North West" meetings. Will be attending this year and if there is any interest in then it will certainly be an opportunity/excuse to organise a club meet.

This looks like a very promising event; one that STOC could usefully support. It has been added to the STOC Events Diary along with links to the 2008 Action and will go into Cats Whiskers.
