STOC NATIONAL RALLY - SILVERSTONE

The weather looks set to be well sunny for this weekends National Rally and 10th Anniversary 'Sunbeam Challenge' race for Tigers and Alpines at the Silverstone Circuit - Saturday 22nd May.

Free Entry tickets to the circuit are still available from Tristan Bradfield. Tel number in Members Handbook.

Racers include (so far):- Tristan Bradfield (Alpine), Steve Chapman (Alpine), Paul Clayson (Tiger), Jackie Cochrane (Tiger), Andrew Davenall (Tiger), Peter Dod (Tiger), Chris Draycott (Alpine), Tony Eckford (Le Mans Tiger), Bryn Griffiths (Alpine), Keith Hampson (Alpine), Simon James (FIA Tiger), Dave Smallridge (Tiger), Rupert West (Tiger). Kindly sponsored by JO Engineering Ltd

Proceed through the main gates and follow signs to the Paddock area and head for the old runway strip adjacent to Copse Corner and opposite the Tiger & Alpine Paddock area.

Another excellent collection of photos Tony. That was one hot day. Many thanks again for taking the trouble to snap our pride and joys!!

Thanks too for capturing WRO 573E on what I believe was the first public appearance of this ultra rare rhd MKII for over 30 years; looking splendid too after its recent restoration by Gary J. I am looking forward to seeing the 4 rhd MKII's together for the first time at the Brooklands Double 12 event this Sunday!!

The final tally was 43 Tigers and 8 Alpines. Full report in upcoming Cats Whiskers.
