Cholmondeley 2010

Post by Tomaselli » Tue Jul 20, 2010 7:44 pm

Tagged as the Goodwood Revival of the North, the Cholmondeley Pageant Of Power is in its third year and is very much starting to make its own mark on the events calendar.

In essence a celebration of all things of speed, covering Land, Sea and Air

Well worth a visit if you are in the North West of England http://www.cpop.co.uk/

Angela Dandy was good enough to organise the weekend (after a shattering Le Mans Classic in France only the week before) and a few UK Tiger members who attended were also joined by Deborah and Peter Phelps visiting from the USA.

Managed to take a few pics of the event, which hopefully may capture some of the "spirit" for those unable to attend the event;

Great pics.
In many ways , it looks better than the FOS....well, it's like the FOS used to be..... Not packed solid with people, full access with that relaxed atmosphere. More like a little club than an event.
I know what I mean lol.

Indeed, it was a very relaxed affair and an event I would certainly recommend to all. Lots of room to access some really nice machinery and thankfully whilst it's only early days the Pageant is keeping it's own identity and not trying to "copy" other period meets such as the Revival or Silverstone Classic.

It'll certainly be great to see a few more Tigers next year :wink:
