Out now and a recommended read
A very well written and correct piece, but I always thought it was more romantic that it was Lord Rootes who came up with the name "Tiger" after his inaugural first drive in Coventry with the Shelby prototype.

About 6yrs ago there was a nice write up in a british mag called Resto Cars. But don't know what happened to it since we moved a couple of times.
Don't know if any of you guys might have a way to look it up, so I could get a copy of it

Can but underscore Tony's comment about the Classic Cars Tiger article - first rate!
This must be the Retro mag Twin Turbo Tiger is asking after:
I recall this yellow machine was owned by Allen Bedford and then went to someone in Hampshire; a scaffolder who came to an untimely end I am told but where is this Tiger now?

March 2005 to be exact Jerry, I have my copy and if you would like I'll send it to you, just send me your address via pm
It was before your "turbo (x2)" conversion
Have been a few Tigers covered in Retro over the years. In March 2009 Patrick Watts rally car had excellent coverage and from memory I think our "BigBob" had his supercharger conversion reviewed
