Anyone on here?

I wondered if it was a bargain or if it needs work.
It looks nice and the engine bay looks great.

Did you get the VIN or JAL? the details are all gone now the car is sold.
From the pics you posted, the dorr looks liek its not sitting right, or it could be the profile of the sill. The left rear wheel arch looks to be flared a little and the uneven ground makes it hard to see if the car is sitting high at the rear or its just the surface.
interesting they painted the sills black 1/2 way up... engine bay has LAT covers and the aftermarket filter housing, has the correct shround, overflow and looks tidy...
if it went for 13GBP and is authentic, and honest that was a steal.

i see its in that rare red colour

,looks cheap enough ,even if it was a reshell its still cheap ,
unless a reshell is very poorly done they hard to identify,
all in all a good buy i think .

The VIN wasn't fully listed perhaps for security reasons but it showed it to be 34** MK1.
The rear arch looks odd but it could be the pic.
I was hoping someone on here got it and could tell us more about it.

what area was it in ,the wheel arch looks like it has been badly filled ,but as you say could be the pic.it certainly seems cheap ,but then again if they are cheap theres usually a reason for it ,

I think it was in Stratford Upon Avon.
I wonder if the vendor is or was a club member?

Vendor is son of owner (non-member). The buyer is a club member! Vendor's said to have priced the machine by reference to a magazine 'price guide'! Couldn't have looked at the STOC site or other Tiger prices on the site used - where the average asking price is £28,000
A typical magazine price guide for a MK1 presently shows:
Rough £10,000 Good £18,500 Mint £27,500 Concours £32,500.
As The Who sang "Can't Explain". Must have wanted a quick sale!!
And yes The Tiger is real enough.

If you listen really carefully, you can hear dozens of members kicking themselves.
I truly hope they are happy with the price they got for it.
