Adding to the vast array of racing machines tearing up Silverstone's new tarmac on Saturday will be the Le Mans Tiger, entered for the Gentlemen Drivers' race at noon, driven by Tony Eckford and Chris Beighton.
Fellow STOC member Paul Clayson will be pedalling his Ford Falcon in the Pre-66 Over-2-litres Touring Car races, as will myself in the Austin A105, rather nearer the back along with a few other 50s cars. Chris Beighton will co-drive a Mustang with John Finnemore in these races also.
Other Sunbeam interest includes a Harrington Alpine in the TT race on Sunday afternoon.
STOC has a club stand, do come alog and add your support as well enjoying one of the biggest classic race events of the year, in the world!

This page should be updated real time (albeit with ~1hr delay) during the weekend.
Austin running well if hopelessly outclassed.
Paul Clayson's Falcon handling badly, major understeer, but the noisy bits are OK.
Chris and Ben Beighton's Mustang has gearbox issues, about 5 people under it when we left.
Loads of people there today, amazing for a Friday.
Expect traffic, and parking a long way out...Walking boots or bicycle handy.
