Can anyone recommend a high cranking battery low enough to fit under the boot floor

you won't be disappointed with an Optima Battery - though not the cheapest;

Cranking power v size of battery is something else

I wondered who made these? Think i've seen them on F1 Stock Cars. As you say though pricey and although I don' want a rubber battery these are possibly a bit too space age

Forgot to mention also, Optima batteries hold their charge for longer also.
Useful, when our Tigers are out on the 'odd' weekend

I'll second Tony's comments, the Optima batteries are fantastic. Well worth the money.

I have nothing against Optima batteries. They have a fine reputation.
However, I cannot see the point of paying
twice the price for an Optima compared to this Varta battery which has a
5 year guarantee:

You pays your money etc.
