TIGERS INTERNATIONAL 2002 - VIDEO or CD

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Throughout September Dave McDermott (B9470035/AHP 483B) managed to capture many fabulous moments across all of the events within Tigers International. Dave's 6 hour epic has now been edited into a 90 minute record soon to be spliced with the handiwork of long standing member, Ken Dalziel.(B9470008/ADU 309B). Many of you will know Ken was responsible 25 years ago for bringing back the Lister built Le Mans Tiger ADU 180B, which Chris Gruys later took to the USA and rebuilt. Ken has captured the essence of the Goodwood Revival Meeting and his work shows ADU 180B and ADU 179B at their magnificient best. This product produced by STOC runs for 2 hours and is available in VHS Video/PAL format.

This unique record covers:

- Goodwood Revival Meeting

- Le Mans Classic

- National Rally at Brands Hatch

- Chasestead Sunbeam Challenge.

Among a host of delights, this record shows the two splendid Le Mans Tigers of Tony Eckford and Darrell Mountjoy at Goodwood competing with the worlds best along with important figures from the 1964 Le Mans effort such as Peter Procter & Jimmy Blumer together with all the fun of the Paddock. It covers the Club Tigers at Le Mans watching the LM Tigers race again and that unforgetable power slide start by Peter Procter in 'No9' that left almost the entire grid flatfooted. Not forgetting the special footage captured by Dave in Club member Martin Pester's ex-police MKII as he urges his Tiger around the 13km Sarthe Circuit, going on to show the Club dinner and speeches and the run back to England. Dave has managed to capture to brilliant effect the Chasestead Sunbeam Challenge (Tigers & Alpines) at Brands Hatch from within the cockpit of Andrew Davenall's race car and then swoops around the lines of over 60 Tigers and their keepers before ending with the 2002 prize and awards ceremony led by our two guests of honour Lewis Garrad and Molly Windebank.

This 'production' has been put together by enthusiasts for enthusiasts and is not a profit making opportunity. The video is offerred at cost - £15 + P&P. Interested? Will happily email a MPEG of Peter's P's LM start as a sampler to anyone wishing to obtain a complete copy. email STOC.
