Favourite pic of 2010

Post by Tomaselli » Sat Jan 08, 2011 6:02 pm

Difficult one as there were many pics in 2010, I'd say the year was a vintage one for images 8)

But this has to be my personal favourite, just captures the mood (and it's a good looking bird driving a very nice car!)

What's your pic of 2010, let's see them and if you need a hand posting them just send me a quick pm.

Hi Tom,

That is an excellent picture. As you suggested it does capture the mood. The other picture that springs to mind and was a bit risque, was the girls giving the red MkII Tiger a wash :D . I'm not sure what pictures I have from this side of the pond, but will have a look.

Regards, Robin.

There were so many girls at that car wash, I dunno whether I'm coming or going :shock:

Sadly, despite being my car - I cannot take any credit for those pics as I wasn't there :cry: :cry: Technically, they were 2009 pics put it's still great to appreciate them again;

So here goes;

.....and, just look at that jewellery scratching me paintwork - when I got the car back it was covered with scratches :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

It could have been worse. She could have dented it.

As a keen car cleaner, I'd love to see the rest of the pics simply to check their technique ofcourse.

I hadn't seen that picture before :shock: . There is a car wash like this in Melbourne. I haven't utilized their services though (really, I haven't!!).

Im not being biased because some are my my cars.. but i just loved the angle and background in these photos .. pitty in the tiger one there were some onlookers looking into the interior, but as the person who took the photo told me "people just dont respect the camerra" January 2010.

That's a great angle, with some contrasting yet very affective backdrops.

Might try something similar myself in the summer 8)

Incidentally, if anybody needs help with uploading a pic, do check out the earlier thread;

It might not be a bad idea to sticky the pic uploading guide at the top of all of the forums so it is easy to find.

The early vs late shot really shows off the different angles. You really get a good perspective with that shot.

Just in the process of archiving some of my library from 2010 and came across this shot I took from my iPhone in situ which I completely forgot about. If I remember correctly, overtaking Gary's freshly restored HRO MK2 on route to Silverstone National.
