Michael,
as you say its the unpeaked headlights & the grill of the mk2 she prerfers, personally i don't mind one that has been fiddled with as long as it is in keeping with the car.
Bearing in mind that the wife is a money pit in her own right, how much would the Tiger you know of be available for?
cheers
Brad

Brad,

I will speak to the owner, he is still sort of 50/50 on selling it. He thought about it mid-late last year as he is unsure when he will get round to it. At that time i went to look at the car and took lots of pics. If you are serious about the car, and i mean as in you understand it will have to be shipped from down here (i know he would assist with organising that) I will follow it up.

That said, one of the only parts he was missing wre the arch trim and the tacho.. he just aquired the tacho last week.. so he seems to be somewhat interested in still getting it all together.

I've emailed a shipping company for a quote, though i expect the cost is going to be prohibitive.

Well i got a shipping quote back, not cheap but considering the distance not too bad i suppose, still cheaper than driving it back.
I missed the last ebay restoration Tiger, but have been talking to another SC member about their project car, so who knows maybe i'll have one soon, maybe not.
cheers

Hi Brad,

The right one will come soon enough and project cars come along fairly regularly. Good luck for your search.

Regards, Robin.
